Full OEM Production Run for Desigual’s Art Pleated Blouses Successfully Delivered

Last month, we wrapped up a full OEM order of thousands of printed pleated blouses for Spanish art fashion brand Desigual. The entire production workflow, from custom fabric printing all the way to packed finished goods, took just 30 days to complete and ship out on schedule, fully meeting the brand’s seasonal launch timeline.

We first manufactured the same silhouette blouses for Desigual last year, and those styles performed exceptionally well with strong sales across their overseas retail channels. Building on our proven reliable partnership, the brand returned to us with a larger order this season, alongside brand-new exclusive painterly print designs. These fresh colorways carry Desigual’s signature bold artistic aesthetic, paired with dimensional textured pleats that raised strict requirements for our printing, fabric and heat-pleating techniques.

Every production stage was closely monitored to maintain consistent premium quality. We started by translating the brand’s art sketches into digital print samples, repeatedly adjusting color saturation to faithfully replicate the layered painterly palette they wanted. Once the prints were approved, we moved on to pattern drafting and precision cutting for the tailored shirt fit. Next came specialty embroidery to create raised, uneven texture across the garment body, followed by industrial heat-set pleating to lock in long-lasting creases that won’t loosen after repeated washes.

After pleat forming, our sewing team carefully stitched collars, button plackets and long sleeves, with close attention to neat stitching to avoid loose threads or misaligned p

leats. Every finished blouse went through hand pressing to smooth edges and shape the garment perfectly. We then ran three strict quality checks covering color fastness, pleat durability and sizing accuracy. Only flawless pieces were sorted, packed and shipped straight to the brand’s overseas warehouse.
